Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2023

To be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Performance in JEE Main: Candidates must first qualify for JEE Main and be among the top 2.5 lakh candidates. They must score the minimum prescribed marks in each subject and overall.
  2. Age Limit: Candidates should be born on or after October 1, 1998. However, there are age relaxations for reserved category candidates.
  3. Number of Attempts: Candidates can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.
  4. Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed their Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2021 or 2022.
